History:
This aircraft was part of the MAP (Military Assistance Program) and sent to EI-28 Italy. It was sold in 1985 and shipped back to the USA in a crate. It was in a crate until it was sold to a dealer in 1998. We purchased it from the dealer in 2002 and began the restoration process. It was not issued an airworthiness certificate in the USA until the restoration was completed in 2004. We received the Silver Wrench Award and the best L-19 at EAA Airventure 2005.
