History:
N4982N is a Beechcraft T34A manufactured under license by Canadian Car & Foundry, CCF34-64, Air Force SN:53-4095. It served its military career in the 366th Fighter Bomber Wing at Alexandria Air Force Base, from 1957 to October 1968 where it was sold to Louisiana wing CAP. In Aug 1971 it went into private hands. It has passed through four owners to its current owner. In 2016 the plane started a ground up restoration at Blackwell aviation. At Oshkosh 2017 N4982N was given a golden wrench and the keep’em flying award. The plane is now based at KSEE.

Restoration
N4982N started is restoration with firewall forward rebuild with sheet metal replaced, new IO550R installed and smoke system installed. Second phase was firewall back. All control surfaces were rebuilt with aluminum skins. horizontals, vertical and wings were reskinned. Forward section of belly was reskinned along with the cockpit. Gear was rebuilt, center section and cowling doors replaced. All new hardware was installed. Wiring was replaced with a new loom with wire numbers matching the original drawing. New avionics were installed.
